Registration Information for SPRING 2012:

There are still spots available in MumNet and MumVet groups across the city, for the Spring 2012 term.

Call or email today to reserve your spot for the Spring term. Call 416-487-MUMS [6867] or email us at info@mumnet.ca – leave your name, contact number, age of your child(ren) and the group(s) you are enquiring about. Your information is recorded and the office manager will contact you to confirm that your name has been added to the list.

Some other groups may have immediate spots available, while others will be at capacity and your name can be added to the centralized waiting list.

Groups can register up to a maximum of 25 members plus two leaders, and cannot modify childcare capacities given by the organization.

Pre-registration for members for Winter and Spring sessions: change for this year

Once a member is registered in the Fall term, she is automatically able to pre-register for the Winter and Spring term. Pre-registration takes place on or before December 2, 2011 (for the Winter term) and on or before February 24, 2012 (for the Spring term). Pre-registration is organized by each group’s leadership team.

CHANGE FOR THIS YEAR: Members must register and pay on or before the pre-registration deadline to retain their priority registration status, ie. ‘hold their spots’, for the Winter and Spring terms.

Members who don’t pre-register and pay by the pre-registration deadline forfeit their priority registration status, and revert to ‘new member’ status’. As ‘new members’, if they wish to register for the Winter or Spring session, they must then contact the Office Manager, and go through the Wait List process for their desired group. As ‘new members’, they must also pay the $25 New Member Registration Fee – even if was paid in the previous term - in addition to group fee payments.

Only volunteer group leaders and volunteer administrative representatives are pre-registered in September.

After the September registration is completed, a centralized waiting list is maintained by the Office Manager. As space becomes available, the Office Manager will contact the mothers on the waiting list to register them for a specific group.

Fee Schedule for 2011-2012

MumNet and MumVet

Fees are $21 per week with childcare (includes all member’s children) or $14 per week without childcare. Members must pay for each term in full at the time of registration (in the Fall) or at the time of pre-registration (for the Winter and Spring terms); fees can be paid by cheque or cash only at this time.

An annual New Member Registration Fee of $25 for each member will be collected at the time of registration, or, in cases where a member does not pre-register for the Winter or Spring term by the pre-registration deadline, again at the time of re-registration for the Winter or Spring terms. This fee is non-refundable and not applicable for subsidy.

Subsidy for term fees are available; please inquire at time of registration.

New Member Administration Fee

MumExec

Fees are $12 per session (there are 10 meetings, which take place once per month from September 2011 to June 2012), plus a $25 non-refundable New Member Registration Fee (for a total of $145). Members must pay in full at the time of registration. Fees can be paid by cheque or cash.

A New Member Registration Fee of $25 for each member will be collected at the time of registration (this applies for the entire year); this fee is non-refundable and not applicable for subsidy.

The MumExec program is currently in a pilot stage and meetings are held in the west end at Humbercrest United Church at 16 Babypoint Road (Jane and Bloor) once a month from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.

Registration will take place on Wednesday, September 14th at 7:30 pm. The first MumExec meeting will take place on the same evening, immediately following registration.

REFUND POLICY

A member may request a refund if she wishes to withdraw from a program before the third session. A written request must be given to the leader who will calculate the amount of refund based on the number of sessions remaining in the term. A $15 administration fee is deducted from the refund. Members should allow at least four weeks for the refund to be processed.

Refunds will not be given for sessions missed.

In the event of a meeting cancellation, every effort will be made to schedule a make-up date at the end of the term. If no date is available, members will not receive a partial fee refund.
