Thank you for your interest in MumNet/MumVet! Our formal registration process for the Fall 2013 terms has now closed. However, we do have spaces available in some groups, dependent on your child care needs. Please call our Office Manager Dominica Larkin at 416.487.6867 or and we would be happy to match you with a group!


What to do if you do not get into the group of your choice?

Some other groups may have immediate spots available, while others will be at capacity and your name can be added to the centralized waiting list. Simply call 416-487-MUMS (6867) or – leave your name, contact number, age of your child(ren) and the group(s) you are enquiring about.

You can be waitlisted for up to three different groups. Your information is recorded and the office manager will contact you to confirm that your name has been added to the list, and again once space is available. (Please note that registration week is a very busy time for our office manager, and your call will be returned within a week's time.) Placement of those on the waiting list is a priority and we appreciate your patience in the process.

Groups can register up to a maximum of 25 members plus two leaders, and cannot modify childcare capacities given by the organization.

Pre-registration for members for Winter and Spring sessions

Once a member is registered in the Fall term, she is automatically able to pre-register for the Winter and Spring term. Pre-registration takes place on or before November 29th, 2013 (for the Winter term) and on or before February 21st, 2014 (for the Spring term). Pre-registration is organized by each group’s leadership team.

Members must register and pay on or before the pre-registration deadline to retain their priority registration status, ie. ‘hold their spots’, for the Winter and Spring terms.

Members who don’t pre-register and pay by the pre-registration deadline forfeit their priority registration status, and revert to ‘new member’ status’. As ‘new members’, if they wish to register for the Winter or Spring session, they must then contact the Office Manager, and go through the Wait List process for their desired group. As ‘new members’, they must also pay the $30 Registration Fee – even if was paid in the previous term - in addition to group fee payments.

Only volunteer group leaders and volunteer administrative representatives are pre-registered in September.

Waiting list

MumNet and MumVet and programs

After the September registration is completed, a centralized waiting list is maintained by the Office Manager. As space becomes available, the Office Manager will contact the mothers on the waiting list to register them for a specific group.

Fee Schedule for 2013-2014

MumNet and MumVet

Members must pay for each term in full at the time of registration (in the Fall) or at the time of pre-registration (for the Winter and Spring terms); fees can be paid by cheque or cash only at this time.

A Registration Fee of $30 for each member will be collected at the time of registration, or, in cases where a member does not pre-register for the Winter or Spring term by the pre-registration deadline, again at the time of re-registration for the Winter or Spring terms. This fee is non-refundable and not applicable for subsidy.

Subsidy for term fees are available; please inquire at time of registration.

Registration Fee



A member may request a refund if she wishes to withdraw from a program before the third session. A written request must be given to the leader who will calculate the amount of refund based on the number of sessions remaining in the term. A $15 administration fee is deducted from the refund. Members should allow at least four weeks for the refund to be processed.

Refunds will not be given for sessions missed.

In the event of a meeting cancellation, every effort will be made to schedule a make-up date at the end of the term. If no date is available, members will not receive a partial fee refund.
